Project Scope

• Real time message management system for communicating between Internet-connected clients and mobile clients; 
• Responsibilities include:
  • Message format and structure
  • Message server and database
  • Interface with mobile service providers
  • Web interface for Internet-connected users
  • Windows-based user clients for administration and use.

Responsibilities

• Architect of a total system solution
  
• Provide an overall design concept and implementation guidance for all components of the system
  
• Establish an overall development plan and schedule for both the prototype and the initial production implementations;
  
• Drive system concept, requirements and specifications to commercial launch
  
• Mature the system design concept to reflect the server and mobile app implementation;
  
• Participate in discussions with Beta customers and other prospect regarding system design and implementation;
  
• Design the message types, structure, parameters;
  
• Design the server and implement a prototype version of the server within 2 months;
  
• Coordinate with the external developers of the mobile apps;
  
• Define and Develop the API/Interface Spec for the system users;
  
• Coordinate with partners for the wider class of message servers required for the initial deployed system configuration;
  
• Develop in-house or contract for an initial production version of the server;

Qualifications

• 4-yr. degree Engineering or Computer Science
  
• Prefer 5+ years enterprise software
  
• Experience managing to Budgets and timelines
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Strong interpersonal skills – internal (colleagues and cross-functional teams), and third parties (customer-facing’ at the VP level)

Job Description:

Provide professional, accurate support to our customer base as well as each MAXXESS Associate. The candidate must have the ability to rapidly but efficiently answer technical questions and resolve technical problems. The candidate will also perform testing on all products.

Qualifications Required:

The candidate must have excellent communication (oral and written) and people skills. Individual must be self-motivated, able to perform duties with minimal supervision and be highly organized. Ability to work with others as part of a team. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Access/Security industry. High school diploma required, college degree preferred. Some travel required.
