Anaheim, Ca. - February 18, 2009 – MAXxess Systems Inc. today announced the appointment of Nancy Islas to President. With more than 20 years of experience in security consulting and security systems, Islas is well known and respected in the security industry.
Islas has been with MAXxess for ten years and had most recently served as VP of Product Development. Prior to MAXxess, Islas founded the Technical Support Department at Hirsch Corporation and served as its Manager. During her tenure with Hirsch, Islas led the design of many of the products released during that period.
“MAXxess Systems has pioneered the new generation of security systems and information frameworks and Nancy has overseen that product development effort”, said Kevin Daly, CEO of MAXxess. “She was the product manager for the development of our two major product offerings, the company’s eAXxess product and the EndPoint information framework.”
Daly added, “Nancy has truly earned her new responsibilities at MAXxess. She has, at one time or another, managed and grown all of our critical operations: Engineering, Support, Manufacturing and Quality Control. We believe that Nancy will bring her considerable skills to her new responsibilities as President and I am delighted to be able to announce Nancy’s promotion to that position.”
This is the third major personnel related announcement that MAXxess has made this month. Earlier the company announced that John Sayer had joined the company as European Technical Sales Manager and that Bruce Gerbl had joined the company as VP of Sales.
