ANAHEIM, Calif. (October 9, 2007) – MAXxess Systems Inc., a leader in integrated security management systems, today announced that Loyola University was selected as the winner of 2007 Security Innovation Award.
The AXxess™ NS with fully integrated MAXxess ViewPoint™ installed at Loyola provided them with a fully integrated security management platform using smartcard technology. Four of their disparate databases were merged into a single database to provide a single card solution for their security, housing, library privileges, cafeteria access and other retail POS systems. The system is connected via IP to Dedicated Micros DVRs and a Milestone NVR managing over 250 cameras. ViewPoint allows operators to view cameras from both recording devices either manually or by automatic call up of a view from an alarm event. All alarm sensors are being managed on the AXxess NS system including the integration of multiple DMP intrusion alarm panels through MultiPort™
