Anaheim,
CA April 5, 2006 Organizations today can often
find themselves with multiple CCTV systems whether from acquisitions
or purchasing directives the system may have an array of cameras
and DVRs. CCTV systems have moved from analog to digital and with
the convergence of technologies users benefit from network solutions
with IP addressable cameras, DVRs, NVRs and access control. DVR
manufactures are continually adding features and functions to offer
the most effective integrated CCTV solutions.
With
the introduction of the newest version of CCTV Monitoring, AXxess
202 software from MAXxess offers a whole new solution to integrating
a CCTV system. It allows users to choose a DVR that has the features
and functions they need regardless of the manufacture and not worry
about the integration into their system. MAXxess CCTV Monitor allows
the greatest flexibility in simultaneous connection, control and
display of cameras from different manufactures DVRs, NVRs and IP
cameras. It also has a web browser feature.
WebView
is a web browser library feature that is designed to bring in internet
resources to the screen into a camera view. It works with any web
page and brings in additional information, such as traffic cameras,
news or weather. Video from traffic cameras refresh every two seconds.
Designed
to use Windows® dual screen capabilities, one image shows the
access control desktop and the second screen displays the live video
views from 1-64 cameras and an unlimited number of custom views.
These camera views are simultaneously connected to DVRs, NVRs or
IP Cameras from different manufactures. The images can be a manually
selected or automatically displayed based on any event occurring
within the system.
The
MAXxess security management system allows users to configure the
system to identify events that will trigger the recording of video.
The CCTV Monitor recognizes and logs events triggered by the DVR
such as camera motion detection or other video analytics and adds
those into the database of the security management system. These
events can additionally trigger dependencies in the security management
system such as sound alerts or alarms as well as visual notification
to the operator.
The
software allows P-T-Z control on live video. There are three ways
to view recorded video. Upon request you can playback video by searches
such as time and date All events that have recorded video on the
security management system can be played back by choosing icons
on the customized floorplans or camera icons next to events.
The
internet and digital technology provide users with many options
to expand and use their security management systems to the fullest.
The MAXxess CCTV Monitoring uses these technologies to provide end-users
the highest level of security management.
